When J/Boats shakes up fast-cruiser standards

July 23rd, 2021 news

🇬🇧 With 45 years of experience in sailboat design and millions of miles covered on all oceans, this new unit has succeeded in astonishing all J/Boats teams!

This daring gamble to bring together unparalleled comfort (modern and bright interior, high-end upholstery and finishes, etc.), large interior volumes (very large storage capacities, volume of living spaces, etc.) while reducing the wet surface and the lowest weight in its class has been fulfilled!

It was a real challenge for the shipyard and the brand to offer a 45″ unit capable of bringing together so many criteria of comfort, volume and finish, surpassing current fast-cruiser standards. The J/45 offers the maximum comfort to sail, in breeze as in light air, in total serenity and safety! The first performances under sail are very positive. It has already exceeded all of our expectations (double-digit speeds downwind and easy to reach wind speed in light winds). The promise to surpass the standard fast cruiser codes is already fulfilled!” Specifies FrĂ©dĂ©ric Bouvier, J/Composites sales director.

As for comfort, J Composites joined forces with Isabelle Racoupeau for the interior design. She was able to bring to bear her vast experience in the cruising yacht domain to maximise comfort and elegance aboard the new J/45. The result is an interior beyond compare where natural light accentuates a resolutely modern design that affords both comfort and functionality whilst sailing.

Designed to reproduce the well-being of your home, the new J / 45 leaves no stone unturned to provide you with all the comfort you need:

– A very large forward owner’s cabin, full width

– A spacious, warm and comfortable saloon

– A living area open to the outside, between sky and sea, which allows natural light to subtly illuminate the interior

– A friendly U-shaped kitchen open to the living space. Designed for cooking at sea.

The consistency and ergonomics of the interior of a J/Boats is no longer to be proven.

📆 The J/45 will be present a the Cannes Yachting Festival from the 7 to the 12th September. To discover it and book your visit, please contact your nearest expert.
